Things I Like Vol. 29

Wednesday, November 8, 2017

It's Wednesday and I have a new Things I Like up on the right day, all is right in the world. In all honesty I'm still all messed up on my days. I've enjoyed being home and back in routines but getting back into the work mentality is a struggle. Anyway, here we go!

1. If you didn't already see, I teamed up with Progressive Insurance to write a post for their blog about How to Throw and Instagrammable Bachelorette party. This was a sponsored post (my first) which, for those of you who aren't familiar, means that I got paid to write it and share it but the content is all my own writing an my opinions. I hope you like it! I'll be sharing a ton more photos and our itinerary hopefully within the next week or so here on the blog.

2. Tiffany's came out with everyday objects and they're hilarious and you guessed it...hella expensive.

4. Ever wondered why a lot of bloggers are Mormon? This article was interesting but I didn't feel like they concretely answered their own question. Still worth a read.

5. This woman's brother is a model and she started poking fun at him by having her toddler recreate his poses. Pretty adorable.

6. Everything we know about Stranger Things Season 3 because I just can't get enough! Don't click if you haven't watched because #spoilers

7. Now on the shopping front I basically just want to throw my credit card at all of my favorite retailers right now. Okay, I'm being dramatic but I did a lot of browsing in Mexico but couldn't purchase because I wasn't in the country. It was weird. Anyway, I went a little ham when we got home and now I'm patiently waiting for my packages to arrive! I bought this rust colored cardigan because it is the color of the season and I knew I needed one after one of my girlfriends (hi Emma!) looked so chic wearing one. I'm also patiently waiting for these velvet jeans and this Christmas pug pajama top. I bought a few more things but want some to be a surprise. I need to cool it and save my online shopping energy for Black Friday. This will be my first year in a long time not going to the mall with my sister and girlfriend because we're not going home for Thanksgiving. So sad because I love that tradition but I do prefer online shopping, so I'm ready!

Hope you're having a splendid week!

    1. Agreed. Hopefully the quality doesn't degrade by extending it out!
